Animal rescue group works to save pets from Ukraine war zone, and reunite them with owners

FOX 2 – “We are driving a thousand miles a working day some times to get these animals,” reported Tom of Breaking Chains Animal Rescue Group 

Breaking Chains is the only team on the front traces in Ukraine, rescuing animals from a war zone. 

“We are reuniting persons with animals that have dropped their husbands, shed their little ones, missing their houses, shed their state, misplaced their work opportunities – they have nothing still left apart from the love they have for this pet dog,” he mentioned.

Tom spoke with FOX 2 from about an hour south of Kyiv in a stranger’s property – form enough to allow him shower for the initial time in a 7 days. 

He and his group are all former British armed service who noticed battle and arrived to Ukraine when the bombing started. On Tuesday, they saved 120 animals from a shelter that was strike with airstrikes, two times just a mile from the purple zone.
