Tacoma,
Julie Roggow's primary leader in six dog
races in the Michigan race circuit.
There once was a race horse, a filly,
that was described as "burning from the
start". Her name was Ruffian. She
unfortunately had a short career but
during her life, with her unparallel
speed, she "smoked" many a gilding in
races. Unlike Ruffian, Tacoma raced many
years for Julie winning and placing very
high in all the events Julie ran. I
often smile at Tacoma as if to say,
"burning from the start". Even as a dog
going on 9 years her speed nor her
ability to lead have not left her. Now,
primarily leading 7 dog puppy team or
out for an 8 mile spin Tacoma displays
all the qualities one could ever want or
hope for in a leader. As with Durango,
refer to his profile, she will be bred
into our gene pool. The race dogs, known
by many, in the background of Tacoma and
Durango have proven themselves many
times. We are looking forward to having
pups from both Tacoma and Durango
