"Sonny"

| Sonny, the "stoic
one", is a main team leader. Sonny is an
excellent performer and has no real faults.
Trained to lead as a young dog, he was the
front end cornerstone for a couple years. A
terribly easy keeper, Sonny is allowed to
run loose to the hook-up area and back to
his house after a training session. His
natural ability and grace shows as he easily
adjusts to any speed format required. As he
gets a little older, on occassion I see a
step lost here and there, and too I think
the team quality is having a better overall
push as well, challenging him as he enters
the mature phase of his life. He rises to
these challenges. Sonny's color pattern is a
familiar one to the kennel over the past 30
years and is also similar, as are a good
many of our dogs, to dogs of the Nome
Sweepstakes era. |
