Durango is
an in your face affectionate dog whose
rawness continues into the harness. An
older dog, 9 in June, we acquired from
Julie Roggow in Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
Durango exercised up with all the other
dogs in the kennel this year was
previously campaigned in six-dog speed
races by Julie. An exemplory track
record and a phenotype compatible with
ours, Durango will be used as an
outcross. Durango's genetic background
is heavy on Igloo Pak and ironically
Igloo Paks Tok is a half-brother to
Alaskan's Nicolai I of Anadyr which is
Alaskan's Astro of Anadyr's sire. Astro
is the primary genetic source for the
background of our kennel. With Durango's
genetic makeup via Tok and ours with
Astro, the two half-brothers in the
background lends a great opportunity.
