About Phoebe ...
Phoebe was bred by us, is Taka's daughter and sister to Ari and Deimos. With her North Wapiti and Blackwater background and with her excellent structure and movement, we are excited about her upcoming first season ('08-'09) as a yearling. Phoebe is a “still waters run deep” dog. Her deep and soulful brown eyes are a window into a sharp and inquisitive mind and a spirit that is gentle, but strong. She has earned the respect of her elders and the friendship of the younger dogs and is solidly connected to us. We look forward to supporting her growth as a sled dog, as a companion, and perhaps also as an emotional therapy dog since she seems to have that temperament.
