About Jasper ...
Jasper was bred by us, is Xandra's son and brother to Asia, Blaze and Ace. He was the first born and the largest pup in the litter and has remained the largest physically and in attitude. Right from the start, we could see that he had leadership tendencies and sure enough, he is the second ranking male in the pack. He was a bit insecure and defensive as a puppy, but consistent love and discipline have let his true self unfold and he is now one of the first to initiate affection with us and is able to manage his high ranking pack status without being too overbearing. He is built more for strength than speed and has thus settled into a solid wheel dog on the team. His work ethic steadily improved over the course of his first season in harness and we can now count on him to provide steady pulling power. Jasper is a loving, sociable, hard working and spirited companion.
